I know this is a little late for a recap of something that was almost a week ago but here it is!

Here is a look at my table from my point of view

My table was in a side room with one door in the corner next to the free refreshments. So clearly I didn’t have the most prime real estate, but a lot of people still came by and checked out my comics. I had two 11×17 signs hanging off the front of my table showing off the two big things I had there, Health Feud #1 and Crossing Comix. I got lucky and sat near some cool people and had a lot of fun joking around during the slower parts of the day. A surprising amount of people were seemingly hypnotized into coming over because of my Animal Crossing banner. Needless  to say that was the biggest seller at my table. It’s cool to know other people became as obsessed with that game as I did.

Yes, that is an Ultimate Man print. (If you want one send me an email jwbeckman(@)gmail.com)

There were tons of cool people there this year, I met new people and caught up with some old friends. I traded comics with quite a few people and walked away with a pretty good stack of comics for myself. I also got this really great foldy thing with a bunch of gross Garfields (it was called ‘Barfield’) on it for free just because I was wearing my buff Garfield shirt, thanks guys!

A great mix of comics from a bunch of talented artists.

So pretty much the whole day was tons of fun, I sold comics, got comics and had sushi for lunch. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect day. I’ll definitely be there next year, you can bet on it.

But if you couldn’t make it, and want to buy my comics, I put them on my online shop http://healthfeud.bigcartel.com/

And I’ll do a neat little ink sketch in the cover too for only 1$ extra!

Or, if you’re in Boston near Fenway you can stop in at Comicopia and pick it up there! I just dropped some off and I’m looking for a couple other places I can get my comics up on physical shelves too. Well, till next time guys. See ya in the funny papers.
